Step 1: A Free Consultation
This
first meeting is the time for us to get to know you and you to get
to know the RJB Design Group. You will see installed examples of our
products and pictures of our designs. We will also discuss the scope
of your project and how much you want to invest in your new kitchen
so that we can tailor our ideas accordingly.
Call us to make an appointment or visit our showroom any time for a
free initial consultation. Feel free to bring in a scrapbook of
photos, articles, and a preferred list of appliances. It would be
beneficial to bring in any architectural drawings you may have or a
rough sketch of your floor plan with measurements. If you prefer,
the designer can schedule an in home consultation and take detailed
measurements.
Step 2: Initial Design Concept and Estimate
At the
second meeting, the designer will present the general design and
layout concept, customized to your individual needs. More questions
may be asked about how you use the space and any adjustments you
want to make. The investment cost will be provided based on the
initial design presented.
If you are happy with the design and are comfortable with the
designer with whom you are working, you will be asked for a design
fee (based on the estimated project cost) to proceed. At this
time, floor plans and elevations will be released to the client. You
are invited back to the showroom for any further modifications until
you are 100 percent satisfied.
Step 3:
Preparations of Design Through Completion
Upon your
approval of all elevations, floor plans and the fixed price
estimate, we will be ready to go to contract. Your contract will
reflect your design fee, which will be credited toward
your initial deposit. Your payment schedule and the estimated
delivery date of cabinetry will be documented in your contract. |
